You have decided you want to sell your home. Where do you start? Here are some ideas for preparing your home for sale, you want to make a good impression on buyers. Follow these tips when preparing your home for sale:
•Do a thorough cleaning of your home.
• Remove clutter from every room including kitchen countertops. Put away small appliances that you don’t use every day like toaster, blender, can opener, etc.
•Do not leave dishes in sink, put away and clean sink. Wipe down appliances.
•Remove fridge art and magnets
• Hide waste cans and outside waste cans so they are not in the pictures.
•Open blinds for pictures,
•Wash windows if dirty
•Park vehicles in garage or on street so they aren’t in the pictures.
•Close toilet lids.
•Store in cabinet all hygiene products.
•Hide all pet bowls, beds and toys.
•Remove extra furniture to help the space feel clean and larger.
•Clean out closests so they look spacious.
•Make sure grass is cut and weeds are pulled.
•Trim bushes
•Add extra mulch in flower beds if needed. The black mulch looks the best.
•Make sure front door and porch looks nice. Paint door if necessary.
•Take down excessive yard ornaments. Less is more!
